Saturday, December 2, 2017 | 7:00PM | ACO Movie Night & Open Discussion featuring Lion with Alberto Foglia, M.D. and Susan Marcel, D.O.

On Saturday, December 2, 2017, ACO Movie Night & Open Discussion will feature Lion, a tale of loss and heartache as well as hope and love. The film is based on the extraordinary true story of Saroo, a foundling five-year old Indian boy, cruelly separated by thousands of miles from his village and family. With no paper trail or family name, he becomes a lost cause, shunted perilously around a barely-existent social welfare system and eventually sent to live with foster parents (played by Nicole Kidman and David Wenham) in another country. Memories of his earlier life fade, but not completely. An awakening occurs years later when an adult Saroo (played by Dev Patel) is emotionally overwhelmed by an unexpected childhood memory and becomes entrenched in the seemingly impossible undertaking of finding his family.

Lion delves into the limitless potential of human emotions, with the cast brilliantly depicting straight-forward family interactions that serve as windows into the hearts and souls of the characters and human nature. Join us as we travel with Saroo to discover the truth about his life and as we discuss the powerful impact of the loving relationships helping him against tremendous odds. ACO Campus, Princeton NJ, 7:00PM. Alberto Foglia, M.D. and Susan Marcel, D.O. will lead the discussion after the film.

Admission to Movie Night is free and complimentary popcorn and beverages will be served. Donations are welcome. For reservations call (732) 821-1144 or Reserve Your Spot On Line.
